Guarantee slips are important products sold by insurance agents. Many insurance agents face one problem: whether they can send guarantee slips to their clients, customized according to the clients' requirements. Because of the lack of on-demand printing systems, they have lost a lot of business opportunities and income. The solution offered by Fuji Xerox enables insurance agents to print guarantee slips according to their business demands efficiently, and to update their printing as demanded by the market.

Example of Customer
The East Asia Antai is a middle-size insurance agent whose headquarters is located in Hong Kong. It is a joint-venture company founded by the East Asia Bank and Antai Insurance Corporation. It now has 300 executive members, and 1700 salesmen. The company is in a mode of positive expansion. From late 1997, several new offices have been established. The objective of the company is to triple its business volume based on $200 million in 1998.

In order to timely supply data and agreements to its customers, the Antai Insurance Agent has designed an insurance application system based on the IBM AS/400 intermediate computer platform. Most customers' documents are printed by Fuji Xerox 4850 laser printing system and Fuji Xerox 4235 intermediate printer. This is because the printing quality of Fuji Xerox is much higher than the two IBM4234 printers of the company. The customer business documents include guarantee slip agreements, insurance bills, loan notices, insurance notices and mails. The total volume is about 450,000 printed pages every month.

After the use of guarantee slips printed by Fuji Xerox color overprint printers, the number purchased by clients has also increased largely. Antai Shanghai Company, following East Asia Antai, also employed a Fuji Xerox production printing system to print guarantee slips.
